Granddad

On June 20th my Granddad past away. He had just turned 94 and I believe he lived a very full life and is exactly where he wants to be right now. Granddad was my last living grandparent. He was laid to rest next to Grandma, who is laid to rest about a 100 yards from my Mother’s parents.

I road tripped to Ventura, California with my parents and my sisters. It was a fun and bonding trip. We saw a lot of our SoCal relatives, did a little home renovation with my cousin Rick, visited my bro & sis-in-law (Steve & Beth & their 4 kids), and of course attended Granddad's funeral. My Dad gave a wonderful eulogy and the service was very nice. I’m grateful to have been able to attend.
