Ducks lost to Boise State. We didn't see the game because it wasn’t televised. But you might be able to guess what happened if you notice a theme to my posts about the Ducks: our starting quarter back (technically our third string quarterback) left in the first quarter with a concussion. Oregon lost another quarterback. Our fourth string quarterback (a true freshman) was ineffective as Boise State scored 24 points to our zero points in the second quarter. In a last ditch effort we brought in our fifth (FIFTH!!) string quarter back at the end of the third quarter to try to change things up. The fifth string quarter back is another true freshman who we were trying to redshirt this year. He did well, considering, but it was too little, too late.
Oregon has now run through five quarterbacks in four games. This is an impossible usage rate to keep up. This loss will likly drop us out of the top 25 nationally.
On a positive note, our running game is good and LeGarrette Blount scored the first touchdown of the day by literally hurdling two other players, a very athletic move.
Go Ducks!
I just found the timer feature on our camera so we're all in this picture.
