Happy Mid October!

Last weekend we headed up to the ‘couve. We always get together with Amy and Shane this time of year for no particular reason. Ok. We were celebrating Shane’s Bday, but you’re not supposed to admit that. No one mentions it. I did say happy mid-October to Shane as we left, but thats it. And Steph brought a cake, but just because – not for any “reason”.

We had a blast. The girls had a ton of fun because they got to play with their cousins and they love Uncle Shane. It was the first time we’d seen their new house all moved. They have a really nice home. We played the Wii. Steph had a blast playing drums on Guitar Hero; apparently she’s awesome. Amy made an awesome meal of ribs and fried chicken. A little indulgent, but hey, it’s mid-October! It only comes around once a year!
