Last weekend she did a simple sheet cake for a birthday and an adorable baby shower cake. The shower colors were yellow, black, and white. The cake played.
Also, some fall outfits for the girls from Mimi.
I got to catch up on my favorite tv shows. I love DVR. Sophie has other ideas about that, however. When I was only ten minutes into the first one she said, "Daddy, I'm tired of having to watch your show!" And, "Why do we have to watch this?" This was proclaimed at the top of her lungs. I know you're thinking she gets this from Steph, but she doesn't. The kid has a mind of her own. (And my wife is perfect. She would NEVER nag at me. Unless it's to do my homework . . .)
…Speaking of my perfect wife- I've lost almost ten pounds since school started. I've been exercising, but the main reason I’ve been getting healthier is that Stephie makes all my food for me for the week. She always has my breakfast and lunch prepared for me when I leave in the morning. On Tuesday when I leave for three days, she sends me with ALL of my meals for the rest of my school week (except for Tuesday dinner, which I look forward to sharing with Jason and Cleo). Besides saving us a ton of money, I find this extremely comforting while I’m away. And for the most part I eat better than most of the other students. Stephie makes me cookies and treats, but for the most part all the food she sends for me is extremely healthy (and delicious). I reheat my food in the graduate lounge and never have to leave the business building, which saves time for studying. Having all of my meals prepared for me is invaluable. It’s a lot of work for Steph but I am grateful!
Love you Steph!
