This weekend we had another trip out to the beach house. The purpose was to celebrate all of the birthdays happening this time of year in the family. It was a blast and a great way to celebrate. Each birthday person was assigned a specific meal where we singled them out but otherwise we just kept the party going all weekend.
Steph and I took advantage of having Amy and Kerry available and forced them to work for the afternoon on Saturday. We went clothes shopping and had probably the most productive, fun shopping trip we can remember. We both feel excited to tackle our tasks with our new duds.
We did get out to the beach. Sophie and her cousins got to explore the tide pools at low tide, Juby almost got drenched to her waist by the slowest moving wave ever, and just before sunset (a beautiful sunset btw) we all went down to the beach to try out BMW's new kite.
We didn't play as much cards this time, probably because Amy and Shane brought Rock Band. But the food was great and I think everyone had a great time. I love that house.

I am glad the birthday weekend was great! Steph's is coming up soon, right? We think of you guys all the time.. can't wait for life to slow down a bit (10-15 years??) so we can reconnect more often! :-)
