Saturday was the main day of the family reunion. This included a group walk to the Ventura Pier, a big family picnic/BBQ, and then a nice dinner in the evening. We ended up not going on the pier walk, but this allowed us to get ready for the day at a leisurely pace and also allowed for us to head over to Cousin Rick's a little earlier to finish up the cake for the picnic. The picnic was a potluck, and Steph and Beth brought a cake since the whole weekend was sort of a celebration of Grandpa Stewart's birthday.
The girls had a blast at Rick's while Steph & Beth finished the cake. Rick put on club music for them to dance to, and then they realized they could make snow angels in his carpet.
