Christmas Break

The end of term was fairly busy for me. We also knew that the first week of my vacation would be tough with Steph working until 8 or 9 each night finishing all of her winter concerts. What I didn't realize would be so nice was the week I would get to spend with Sophie and Juby. It was a real gift to spend so much concentrated time with them while Steph was finishing up her work week. The girls and I did some Christmas shopping, played a ton, and even got out my old legos to play with. I loved having the chance to spend so much time with my girls. With all the time I have to spend out of the house with school, the chance to be at home, uninterrupted, for so long has been awesome. 


Granted, by Saturday night we were excited to have Stephie home with us. We celebrated with a pizza night. The girls had a ball making their own pizzas. This was a great way to kick of the winter break with the whole family. We're just really enjoying this time to have a break together.
