Dec 26th Hike

The day after Christmas we went for a hike near Opal Creek. Dad had been wanting to get up there to see some of the old growth, and we all finally had some availability at the same time. And Shane had a new GPS to try out on the trails. Gathering:

The short hike had a big pay off. The final stretch was a little treacherous with snow and a three year old, but it was worth it.

Sophie stayed warm and happy in her new coat despite the freezing temp.
