Juby is four

This has been an awesome Spring Break! Kevin and I tripled our yearly quota for movies seen in a theatre. One was for Jordan's birthday on Tuesday. We had fish tacos (his request, gotta love that kid) with the whole family. I mean EVERYONE was there. Even Darren, Kristen, and Prince Eric (and Chopin and Duke)! Food was consumed in short order and followed by Repo Men at the newly remodeled downtown theatre. Not a movie for the faint of heart, but we both loved it!
Happy 4th Birthday, Juliet! Well, Sophie looks happy anyway. This picture epitomizes the way in which Juby acts at the start of any large gathering. She does not like being the center of attention.
Cha Cha tried to help Juby out of her shell in the best way we have all learned:
1). Give her lots of space
2). Don't talk directly to her or touch her
Cha Cha actually grew up right by this spot on the river, and he was sharing memories with the girls!
Bring on the sugar. Juby was quite vocal about what her cupcakes should look like. Vocal, you ask? When no one is looking this kid is a talking machine. In fact, one of her funny mannerisms is that she frequently has to gasp for air several times per sentence. So many words, not enough oxygen.
Don't feel bad for Sophie. She had already consumed at least one cupcake at this point.
Notice Clara's tongue slightly hanging out. This was her 4th . . .
Aha. Starting to come out of her shell.
Did someone say Barbie?
Barbie on roller skates pulled by a battery-powered mama dog who also has two puppies she can push in a tree-swing-merry-go-round. Only Mimi could POSSIBLY pick out such a monstrosity. Actually, we should mention here that Mimi and Debby had originally picked out the exact same Barbie. Not the first time they have done that! Debby's was Sea World Barbie, complete with sea lion, dolphin, and an otter.
Juliet's very first attempt at photography. Not too bad, eh? She captured the moment if not all of Sophie's      head. This was the end of a very long day. After the park, we went swimming for the rest of the afternoon at Mimi and Cha Cha's. We all got a slight bit of sun and I got bit by a spider. The girls were FRIED by this point and were having an after dinner snack. The bag you see here is full of almonds. Classic Mimi. No meal is complete unless she offers you a large bag of bird food.
