Valy-B's Recital

Val's recital was Saturday. She did a wonderful job and showed how much progress she had made as a violinist. We really enjoyed ourselves despite the weird absence of Soph & Juby (we left them with Grammy, which they were excited about for days). This was Val’s first real recital and it went off without a hitch. Can’t wait for her next one.

Steph, Karen, and Yuri Silver catered the reception. The food was excellent and of course Steph provided deserts. The four cakes were well received, one flavor was experimental and was very well received, even though the flavor was Kevin’s idea.





Strawberry Short Cake, Limoncello (with cookie straws for decoration), and Chocolate with Bailey’s Crème filling (decorated with chocolate 'V's for Val). Sorry, we didn’t get a picture of the experimental cake.
