Last week we had a nice trip out for ice cream with our good friend Evan Thomas. He was in town visiting his parents since his mother is retiring. It was wonderful to see Evan even if it was a short visit. After ice cream we took Evan to Nelson Park in South Salem so the girls could run off some energy and we could keep visiting.
And when it rains...
This Friday we had a great party at Casa Nelson. The Langers were over since Jakub and his wife Ellen were in town. Jakub brought their daughter over and Sophia and Juliet had a blast with their new playmate. Jakub’s friends from college came out with them, and the two other couples also had a child each, so it was a full house. Lots of fun had by all; the pool was put to good use despite the weather. It was great to visit with Jakub and Ellen again. We wish them the best on their second child!
We did fail to get pictures of both of these visits, though…. Oops.
