We've been swamped recently. I finished fall quarter yesterday with my final three final exams in the last 24 hours of the week. No comment on how I did yet: I don't really know.
Stephie completed her concert season this week. They went great! She had four groups perform throughout the week and all of the performances were great places to start building for the rest of the year. The performances were well received by parents and students alike. Sophie and Juby got to see their mother conduct for the first time (that they can remember).
Other big news: Darren & Kristen got engaged since our break in posting began, and they are in town this weekend. We have to celebrate D-Lo's B-day which was last week, celebrate their engagement, and celebrate Christmas since they are both having to stay in Hotlanta for Christmas. We can't wait to see them this afternoon!
Also, Grammy & Pop-Scotch picked up a little beach house with a 180 degree view of the ocean in LC yesterday. They headed out to get to know their new beach house over this stormy and potentially snowbound winter weekend. The house is a cape cod style built in the 1930's that looks to have been added onto half a dozen time.
Speaking of snow, the Willamette Valley is supposed to get some this weekend. We're pumped to say the least.
We'll catch up on Thanksgiving and Soph's second 4th B-day soon. I'm still catching up on sleep, and Steph is still cutting me slack from finishing my school term, so I need to live it up while that lasts.

It will be a blizzard since I no longer live there!! :) Congrats on surviving the exams... I am sure it is intense waiting for the scores. Let me tell you how I know you did... GREAT! Hope you guys have a fantastic weekend!
