Steph is having a blast with snow days. Last night Salem-Keizer cancelled school for today by 5pm. Steph ran around with screams of joy for five minutes. I can't remember ever seeing a school kid so excited to have a snow day.

Our Christmas Tree
We were forced to put off getting our Christmas tree because of finals and concerts. We took advantage of school getting cancelled for Steph yesterday to head out to Palmers Tree Farm. Palmers has become a tradition for us- it's where we get our trees. We were impressed with ourselves out in the open air of the tree farm for picking a smaller tree, something more sensible. Our perspective must be skewed. When we got it home It measured just over nine feet! We had fun setting up the tree. The most fun was how interested Soph was in getting it decorated. She's getting old enough to have some memories of Christmas trees past and was excited to help decorate.

I really enjoy reading your posts. You write well.
I was feeling a bit homesick for 'my' girls while I watched the snowfall, so you're pics of them and the snow really made my day. Keep up the good work.
Love, Mom
Oops. Should have proofed! 'Your' not 'you're'.
