Yesterday's swim

The Girls have been swimming A LOT lately. Steve & Karen have been in Europe for almost three weeks; they returned home late last night. We stayed at their house with Val & Jordan while they were gone to have fun and hang out. Today Grammy (Grandma Debby) came over to swim with the girls.

Is this an island oasis with palm trees and bright sunshine? Or did you notice the fir trees in the background? The girls have become very comfortable with the water. They like to end each swim without their floaty suits. Jumping in is part of every swim:

By the way, the Ducks slaughtered the Huskies. I'm beginning to think we're cursed, though I know that's nonsense. Our starting quarterback went out with a concussion in the second quarter. Remember we lost our first string quarterback last week before the season even started. Our third string quarterback settled down after a couple of snaps and led the Ducks to an outright routing of the Huskies, though, so all is well. That makes the Ducks win streak against the Huskies five in a row, the longest in history.
